And really, Anna Wintour didn’t hire the 23-year-old Black photographer, Beyoncé did. The story broke that Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour gave Beyoncé unprecedented control over the cover of the upcoming September issue.

Sources say, Bey, hired the first Black photographer, Tyler Mitchell, 23, to shoot a cover in the publication’s 126-year history.

Beyoncé is killing the game but I am sick of celebrating the first Black anything in 2018! I.E.Beyoncé being the first Black woman to headline Coachella.

It has really taken 126-years to hire a Black photographer for the cover? The whole time Anna Wintour's butt has been editor-in-chief not one African American person has been the cover’s photographer? I’m thrilled the brother got the job but this is a for real problem.

It took an around the way girl from Houston, Texas, who can sing, dance and entertain with ridiculous  power in the music industry to actually tell this very WHITE establishment called Vogue magazine that SHE is going to take control and PICK a Black photographer to shoot her on the September cover.

All this time, Black fashionistas, celebrities and entertainers have been stanning for Anna Wintour and she has never even considered hiring a Black photographer to shoot the cover of her precious magazine.

Kanye was throwing a fit about not getting invited to the Met Gala. Yet, Anna has never been for Black people no matter who sits next to her at fashion week.

I mean, Annie Leibovitz isn’t the only dope fashion photographer. I’m so over the media acting as if diversity in front of or behind the camera isn’t important. These people in power do just enough to not to be called a racist.

I bet Anna Wintour’s fave line is, “but I worked with Andre Leon Talley.”
