Fashion Writer, Publisher, and Founder of Modern Stitches Magazine and Modern Stitches Live, Ashley Scarboro has teamed up with Charlotte-based Production Company Dreamsville Ventures to produce a groundbreaking post-Fashion Week event presented in a multi-part series. The event "Black in the Fashion Jungle" explores and examines the racial disparities African American celebrities, Celebrity Fashion Stylists, and Fashion Influencers face in the White-dominated fashion world.
This inaugural event in a series of events and digital content experiences begins with a highly anticipated conversation from the Black male perspective. Confirmed panelists include Actors Tobias Truvillion (First Wives Club) and Curtiss Cook (The Chi), FUBU Co-Founder and Entrepreneur, J. Alexander Martin , and stylists Bobby Trendz and The Journi brothers!
