Friday:

Coco & Breezy Pop-Up Shop and Q&A Session

Minnesota’s favorite twins will hold a pop-up shop as well as a Q&A session at Live Astro in Williamsburg. Shop their Coco & Breezy x Sprayground “EXPOSED” Backpack collaboration and their signature eyewear. And if you have been curious about how the twins got their start in eyewear, they will hold a panel discussion from 6:00PM to 7:00PM for all those inquiring minds.

Have you ever grabbed a post-workout protein shake and thought to yourself, “I wonder what this would taste like with with liquor?” No? For real? I can’t be the only lush! But if you are curious try Cocktail Bodega, this new-LES spot that’s like a hipster spiked Jamba Juice. Cocktail Bodega blends liquor-blended smoothies and spiked fresh-squeezed juices along with a fresh food menu created by cutie Chef Roble. Starting this Friday, Cocktail Bodega will host Caboose Fridays in their underground space that resembles a subway train car complete with graffiti with DJ Roxy Cottontail spinning.

HLB Opening Night

Meatpacking’s Highline Ballroom has been updated; complete with state of the art sound and lighting systems, gigantic LED screens, and new interior design. To celebrate, all is invited to this Saturday to experience the transformation for yourself. It’s a dance party to kick off the new HLB.

The Grand Opening Of REVIVAL


Move Forward Music will launch a new monthly dance party with pioneering NYC DJ, Rich Medina (Props, Jump N’ Funk, Little Ricky’s Rib Shack) and DJ PQ (Franklin Park, Hot Jamz), at the fast-rising independent art space, FreeCandy, in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn. The special guest for the inaugural party will be veteran party starter and hip-hop legend, Tony Touch.

If a fusion of pop, dub, electronica, hip-hop, reggae and new wave is your thing, then head to the Roseland Ballroom to see Santigold. I’ve seen her perform in D.C. a couple of years ago and most recently at the Cole Haan- Don’t Go Home Party and she is a ball of energy on stage and her dancers are weirdly dope.

LAMIK Beauty NYC Launch Party

LAMIK is an acronym that stands for Love And Makeup In Kindness. Since 2005 LAMIK has been part of the Safe Cosmetics Campaign and named one of #1 Eco-Chic Makeup lines for Women of Color consisting of a full range of color cosmetics which boasts problem solving products and Vegan-friendly makeup brushes.
