I hope the hoarders went to the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale earlier in the week, leaving the sane people a chance to grab a discounted MAC Daddy bag. To celebrate another successful sample sale, designer Rebecca Minkoff will host a Girls’ Night Out tonight at the sample sale location, 260 Fifth Avenue. Ms. Minkoff herself will be on-site from 5:30PM to 6:00PM and you can also enjoy champagne, wine and sweet treats while you shop.

In March, Hermès cancelled its sample sale with no explanation so fashionistas wondered if this season’s sale was really going to happen. Alas according to Mizhattan, the Hermès sample sale returns next month on September 5th.
And because Hermès decided to skip this year’s March sale, there is hope that there will be tons of merchandise. My best advice is to take the next few weeks to save and prepare for the mayhem that is called the Hermès sample sale.

In the words of Ricky Bobby, “If you ain’t first, you’re last.” I was first in line at the Theory & Helmut Lang Sample Sale at Clothingline and because there was no line, I was skeptical that this sale wasn’t going to be popular but as it got closer to the opening time (they opened the sale about 20 minute early!), a mid-size line was formed.
The price point at this sale is right on, I mean Helmut Lang denim for $35 dollars?! This is the stuff that sample sales are made off, ladies were scoring Helmut Lang’s signature drapey and asymmetrical pieces and Theory’s Wear To Work gear at more than half off.
Though there is a catch, a lot of the items are soiled and irregular so you must inspect all your finds and then stand in the long line for the dressing room to try them on, but with all things considered there is a ton of merchandise to shift through and you’ll be sure to find a new addition to your wardrobe.
Oh, and stop by soon as the good stuff is getting picked over. The sale runs until Thursday!

TheOutnet.com will begin their popular bi-annual clearance sale today, July 17, 2012 with over 2,000 items reduced up to 85% off. The sale is scheduled to began just before noon and with the heavy discount on designer duds, I suggest you log on early. A sale this good is the online equivalent of standing in the YSL sample sale line.
