We are women and hear our roar! What a beautiful evening this will be! The Riverside Theater will host it’s 3rd annual Women’s History Month celebration, “An Evening with Women of Excellence in the Arts,” on March 26th at 6pm. Featuring five phenomenal women who will share an intimate discussion about their personal journeys in the arts industry. This panel of esteemed fabulous women will be moderated by Image Activist and Writer Michaela Angela Davis and will include, Lillias White, Melba Moore, Beverly Bond, Malikha Mallette, and Winsome Sinclair.

This discussion will offer a closer look into the world of the arts from the unique perspective of women that are achieving excellence in the arts while inspiring women around the globe.

The event will be followed by a V.I.P reception sponsored by Given Liqueur.

Tickets to attend “An Evening with Women of Excellence in the Arts” are $20 for the panel discussion, $35 for the V.I.P. reception and panel discussion. Join the ladies of LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails) on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 as they host a cocktail party to honor International Womens’ Day and to support Bottomless Closet NY. Bottomless Closet is a non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged NYC women become self-sufficient through comprehensive programming and support.

The cocktail party will be held at Lani Kai (www.lanikainy.com) and you can purchase half-price, Compass Box Whisky cocktails ($8 each) created by female mixologists from some of NYC’s hottest establishments. A portion of proceeds ($2 from each drink) will benefit Bottomless Closet.

Burch vs. Burch. I just read the New York Magazine article about exes and rivals Christopher Burch and Tory Burch and the article states how although Tory Burch might be the more popular of the former couple, Christopher could be a fashion icon within his own right. He recently opened a store in Soho called C.Wonder which might mimic Tory’s peppy style.

Join C.Wonder- to check the similarities of Tory’s store, as they welcome Ali Wentworth (comedian and author) and Adam Glassman of O Magazine for an event of fashion and fun.

The evening will include a Q&A with Adam and Ali, where they will answer questions from shoppers in-store, as well as select questions taken from twitter followers, who tweeted to @CWonderStore #AliandAdam in the days leading up to the event.
